Background: The event was secured on the back of our production of the Scottish Cup Final Party, at the same venue a few weeks previously. The event involved 600 fans paying to watch the story of Falkirk’s cup success unfold on two giant 12 x 12 ft screens, with a powerful sound system, to get them in the mood before the game and then returning to join the players, in a post final party, for which the room had been transformed into a ‘mobile nightclub’, with sound, lights, smoke machines and lasers.
The look and feel: The room was subtly washed in club colours, to create an air of sophistication and anticipation, for the awards themselves. The players and management felt the production of the event was on a different level to anything they had enjoyed previously. Video vignettes of player’s performances preceded each award, mixed with sponsor credits and music stings, for walk on’s. Images projected on to 2x10ft screens on stage and 4x 50” plasma screens, to ensure excellent sight lines for all guests.
The Reaction: We have now done two events for the club and been appointed for all future events, ousting the previous incumbent who were a sponsor of the club.
