Marvelus Events have a permanent team of audio visual technicians based within the Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow, together with enough equipment to satisfy all of your staging, lighting, sound and projection needs.

We have operated within the hotel since prior to opening in 2009 and pride ourselves on our ability to offer a seamless service, in support of the hotel’s Events Team, from initial site visit to actual event delivery.

Our operational knowledge of the hotel allows us to advise on the most efficient and impactful way to deliver your event and our onsite presence enables us to be proactive and responsive to your needs.

Our operation is designed to cater for everything from daily delegates in the smaller meeting rooms who might require a laptop, projector and screen, through to major awards dinners, conferences, charity fundraisers and the hotel’s own Christmas parties.

We constantly invest in new equipment to satisfy the specific needs of event organisers at Grand Central.

A Bespoke Wide Screen Set Developed for the Railway Benefit Fund in the Ballroom

A high impact set comprising; 12m x 6m RGB star cloth; with three screen projection set. Centre widescreen main media projection. Left and right split screens for separate video or sponsor slides. 6 x 220 watts LED moving head spots with four high power LED up lighters for room effect lighting. High power 3k HK Aktor sound system with six satellite speakers for general speech and awards music. Sponsor was Bam Nuttall.

The Railway Benefit Fund brief gave our team the opportunity to create a highly impactful set which added to the drama and excitement of the evening. The ambience of the specially lit Ballroom and the use of four side screens for media display provided a totally immersive experience for guests.
